Significant new initiatives that help to strengthen the Association's efforts to market Singapore water expertise internationally.
SWA obtained a grant for a period of three years from SPRING and IE Singapore under the Local Enterprise and Association Development Programme (LEAD Programme) to support a range of long term activities to bolster the capacity and capability of the Association. The fund will be used to support a specific range of programmes under a four-prong approach aimed at strengthening the industry.
The four prong approach covers:
- Industry branding and profiling
- Enterprise development initiatives such as development of new technologies, products and partnerships
- manpower development through training ; and
- market development
These deliverables are aimed at helping to improve the overall capabilities of local water players and SMEs and position them for future growth.
