The Young Water Leaders Summit (YWLS) is a flagship event of the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). It aims to create a platform to profile the global water industry as an exciting and innovative sector, to inspire young water professionals with leadership potential to develop their careers in the water industry, and to connect young water professionals with established business leaders, who serve as role models.

Programme at a Glance

YWLS 2018 will take place from 8 – 10 July. Participants can look forward to interactive dialogues with industry leaders and other water practitioners, from whom they can draw inspiration. The programme is tightly integrated with the Water Leaders Summit meant for senior leaders, and there will also be ample opportunities for knowledge exchange and networking.

Nomination Criteria

We would like to invite you to nominate one or two young professionals from your organisation, who have displayed strong leadership skills, outstanding work performance and strong future potential as a leader in the water industry. He/she should be 35 years old or under. YWLS 2018 will be an excellent opportunity for your staff to represent your organisation in this network of promising future leaders, gain exposure to global water issues and inspire them to return to their jobs with broader perspectives and an expanded network of useful industry contacts.

The nomination deadline is 30 April 2018. Participants are expected to cover their cost of participation, which includes airfare, accommodation and registration fees (Fees at S$700 before 30 April 2018 and S$750 thereafter, excluding 7% GST).
